Connect Milligram to Claude
- Tap Connect to Claude above. Claude opens with Milligram's name and address already filled in (sign in to Claude first if it asks).
- Claude notes that the connector came from a link. The name and address shown are Milligram's, so tap Continue, then Add.
- On the Milligram page tap Connect, sign in with the Apple ID you use in the Milligram app, tick the box and tap Allow.
- Back in Claude, the four read-only tools are listed. Leave them on Always allow.
Once it's added on the web it works in the Claude iPhone app and in the Claude desktop app too. In a chat, make sure Milligram is on in the tools menu. Adding it by hand instead: on claude.ai open Customize, then Connectors, then Add, then Add custom connector, and paste the address.
ChatGPT connects only on the web. The ChatGPT phone app can't add it.
- On chatgpt.com open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode.
- Open Plugins in the sidebar, tap Add at the top right, then Create MCP App.
- Name it Milligram, paste the address under Server URL, keep Authentication on OAuth, tick "I understand and want to continue", then tap Create.
- Tap Continue to Milligram, sign in with the Apple ID you use in the Milligram app, tick the box and tap Allow.
- Milligram now shows under Plugins, Personal. In a chat, type @Milligram before your question.
Developer mode is OpenAI's feature and OpenAI decides who gets it. It's web only, it depends on your ChatGPT plan, and it may not be offered in every country, including the UK and the EU. If you don't see it, your account doesn't have it yet.
